Oh-nyne Ends Without a Big Bang (Dec 31, 2009 / 20:59)

Mich's 20th! Dinner at Marutama Ramen. Did cowgirl and pancake shots by the river. Hopped to the open-aired space Helipad, which turned out to be a big disappointment (bad service). Cabbed to Club Giorgio, which in my opinion, is a club meant for menopausal ladies, not for us girls in our 20s. Popped by St James Power House for champagne and groovy music. The night ended hilariously (since I was strapped in my outer space suit).

Eve of Christmas: Lunch at Marche followed by a Raspberry Vodka party at St.Regis. Hangover much on Christmas day. On a side note, Saizeriya Italian Restaurant serves the worst pasta and pizza ever.

Bel's 20th at essential brews and Wala Wala. Waterfall is her downfall. Drink, drunk, drama in 5 minutes flat!

Stayover at Zhao's again! 40pc nuggets was no kick. Next time let's do 60 pieces! (Just sayin' :/)

2009 started off rocky, accompanied with unstable emotions. Somehow, academics and the load of projects paved the way for a clearer head and heart, which I absolutely am thankful for. Joys and pains were interjected between certain periods; experienced the former far more than the latter. Fewer clubbing nights. More time on books. Friends came, and left. Those who stayed, I keep them dear to my heart while others, I slowly begin to have doubts.
So, while the clock steadily ticks it's way to midnight, I hope that in 2010, I'd be a better person, with a greater heart and mind. Embrace the inevitable, laugh heartily, live healthily, find a real purpose on earth and ponder about what jobs I might take up upon graduation.
